Who is Punchframe for?
Photobooth operators, event photographers, favor makers, and any small business that turns photos into keepsakes on-site — keychains, magnets, buttons, photo cards, and more. If you show up at an event with a printer and a cutter, Punchframe is built for you.
Does it work with my cutter brand?
Yes. Punchframe doesn't integrate with specific cutter hardware — it generates a print sheet using your exact dimensions and spacing. If your cutter has fixed punch positions, configure those measurements once and every sheet uses them.
Can I use it for magnets, not just keychains?
Yes. Punchframe supports circle and square cutters in any size. Configure your cutter's dimensions in the event settings and Punchframe handles the layout math.
What printer does it work with?
Punchframe is optimized for the DNP DS620A dye-sub printer (6×4 inch borderless output). It works with any printer that supports borderless 6×4 printing at the correct DPI.
How does the guest upload portal work?
Each event gets a unique QR code you can post at the booth. Guests scan it on their phone, take or upload a photo, crop it to the cut shape, and submit. It lands directly in your incoming queue on the operator screen, pre-framed by the guest. You can adjust the crop before printing.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. The free Demo plan lets you try the full workflow, and its prints carry a watermark. Try the demo without an account. Sign in with Google or email when you want to print or save, no credit card required.
What happens if the internet drops at the event?
Punchframe is cloud-based, so photos need a connection to download before you print them. A flaky connection won't lose anything: photos and your work are saved in the cloud and pick up where they left off when the connection returns. A phone hotspot works fine. A busy night (a few hundred photos) uses roughly 1 GB of data.
